Horton - Reverend Edward William - At the Westbury Nursing Home, Etobicoke, on Friday, December 31st, 2004, Reverend Edward Horton who served in British Columbia and Ontario and as a Chaplain in World War 2, at the age of 97. Beloved husband of the late Pearl and Winnifred. Loving father of Betty Nunez (Late Ron) of Etobicoke and Ted and his wife Linda of Calgary, Alberta. Loved by his three late sisters. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Deborah, Kathryn, Janet and their families. Reverend Ed will be lovingly missed by Pearls' family. Reverend Horton is resting at The Whattam Funeral Home, 33 Main Street, West, Picton, on Wednesday from 2 till 4 and 7 till 8 P.M. Funeral Service will be held at the Picton United Church on Thursday, January 6th at 11 A.M. Reverend Geoff Carr Officiating. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Markham at 3:15 P.M. Donations to Picton United Church would be appreciated by the family. (CHEQUES ONLY PLEASE). Royal Canadian Legion Branch #78 will hold a service on Wednesday evening at 7:30 P.M.
